| I was disappointed I didn't make it to the reunion. My husband's uncle passed away so we had a funeral in Mandeville, and didn't get home until late. Well, it was late for me! I loved the pictures of everyone. I'll be honest, I had to zoom in and look at some of the name tags, but everyone looked great and it looked like it was a lot of fun. I'm sorry I missed it. I hope we can have another one before 10 years. | |||

| Greetings all! Many thanks to the reunion planners - I know how hard you worked and that your work was not done even when you got to the party. My deepest appreciation for your sacrifice - wish I was closer so I could help with the NEXT one. Hopefully we won't all need walkers and Depends by that time! How wonderful to see so many old friends (REALLY OLD, OLD, OLD ... just like MEEEEE). It was a blessing to see happy, healthy faces of friends who have meant so much to me. And, what a trip to realize that it has been 42 years (OMG!!!!) since I started school in 1966 at Central Elementary School with some of you who were at the reunion ... like Beth Smith, Suzanne Browning, Beverly Ashford, Shavonne Bourque, Will Moore, Dorothy Swain, Mary Gerage and many others that I didn't get to see this time. Hey Everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know that I that it was nice seeing everybody at the reunion (once I got there)! I wish we would have longer to visit with each othr, but we always have next time or we could even set up a monthly meeting time somewhere, so we all could see each other more often. The reunion is over and it was great to see so many friends. I had such a great time! It was much too short; I could've stayed and talked all night. I tried to convince some of our classmates that we should have a classmates only reunion, but I am sure that event would have gotten out of control.
I have not seen some of the classmates on the site since our last reunion and have not seen some since high school. We are all older, wiser, wider and grayer. Hopefully we also are looking at life these days as late forty somethings and not as the teenagers we once were. I have enjoyed the work on this reunion, the conversations with some for the first time in years, the website allowing a brief glimpse of where some of us are today.
